Job summary

Citco in Dublin is seeking a Senior Specialist for Client Lifecycle Management to help manage AML/KYC processes, perform risk-based on-boarding, and oversee ongoing client due diligence in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with custody, legal, compliance and risk teams, maintain client registers, and support AML tools implementation while ensuring timely responses to queries. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• You are degree qualified in business, banking or finance and have AML experience.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with AML legislation and regulations in Malta, including FIAU Implementing Procedures.
• Perform risk assessment of existing and new clients, evaluate suspicious behavior and report to AML Supervisor.
• Prepare client CDD files at onboarding and conduct risk-based ongoing monitoring for review by AML Supervisor.
• Request CDD docs from client and Citco teams and ensure adequate execution of CDD for High Risk clients.
• Keep Client Register up to date and maintain all CDD information, documents and files.
• Clear and/or investigate matches from scanning application used to check against undesirable lists.
• Respond to team queries in a timely manner.
• Liaise with custody/depositary operations, legal, compliance and risk to ensure AML procedures are followed.
• Support AML Supervisor in AML/KYC matters.
• Work on ad hoc AML projects and duties as needed.
• Assist in roll-out of AML tools for clients, update internal AML/KYC systems.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• You will be familiar with the AML legislation and regulations in Malta, including the FIAU Implementing Procedures.
• Performing risk assessment of existing and new clients, evaluating and identifying suspicious behavior and reporting to the AML Supervisor on appropriate action according to the level of risk.

• Clearing and/or investigating/verifying possible matches as generated by the scanning application that Citco uses to scan their client base against lists of undesirable persons.
• Ensure all queries received by the team are responded to in a timely manner.
• Liaise with internal departments from custody/depositary operations, legal, compliance and risk to ensure AML procedures are being adhered to.
• Support the AML Supervisor in any AML/KYC related matters.
• Work on other ad hoc AML projects and duties that may arise from time to time.

Assist in the roll-out of AML Tools (software) for our clients, update and maintenance of internal AML/KYC systems.
