Job summary

Atlantic Projects Company is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead day-to-day field operations on our Tarbert project site in Co. Kerry, Ireland.

This full-time, on-site role follows a standard workday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with reporting to the Projects Director. You will coordinate manpower, equipment and subcontractors, manage the project schedule and budget, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance while guiding constructability reviews with the EOR from

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of power plant or industrial construction experience.
• Experience with medium to large power plant project experience.
• Ability to lead and manage people, coordinate multiple activities, and read and understand drawings.
• Strong decision-making, autonomy and strong communication.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Knowledgeable in CSA rules and regulations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage field construction activities including manpower, equipment, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate turnover, completion, manpower, equipment, safety, and quality.
• Ensure project is completed safely and within schedule and budget.
• Build relationships with Owners, Engineers and OEMs.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Construction Regulations.
• Plan, supervise, and execute all construction aspects with the project team.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and Subcontractors daily.
• Review drawings and field specifications for completeness.
• Support commissioning needs and observe startup safety procedures.
• Monitor costs and review weekly QPR.
• Conduct daily construction meetings with all disciplines and subcontractors.
• Complete constructability reviews with the EOR during design phase.
• Address and resolve issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
