Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Dublin is seeking a Site Manager to lead on-site activities across start-up, construction, erection, and commissioning phases. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery while coordinating with the Project Manager, customers, and subcontractors.

The role requires at least five years in a Foreman/Chargehand role, excellent communication, and strong negotiation skills. The position is hybrid in Dublin with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MS Project basic level.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Foreman / Chargehand role.
• Excellent communicator and management of customer relations.
• Demonstrate negotiation skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for troubled projects.

Responsibilities

• Site planning and coordinating on-site activities with Project Manager and resources.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning per contract specs and safety standards.
• Maintain stakeholder relations with customers, authorities, banks and suppliers.
• Ensure health, safety and environment plan is in place and all personnel are trained.
• Manage on-site subcontractors to meet delivery dates and quality standards.
