Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Senior Security Incident Manager to coordinate and lead security incident responses across EMEA, including London and Dublin. The role focuses on leadership, documentation, and timely action rather than deep technical analysis.

You will work with incident responders and other teams to contain and remediate incidents, communicate with stakeholders, and continuously improve incident management processes across the global Sec IM function.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cyber incident management, incident response, or urgent vulnerability remediation functions.
• Understanding of the security incident lifecycle: prep, identification, containment, eradication, recovery, post-incident review.
• Experience acting as Incident Commander or Incident Manager during active incidents.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage tasks under high pressure.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build networks and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents and high‑profile security events.
• Set the tone and leadership for each response.
• Scope responses to next best actions and ensure sustainability of resources.
• Communicate with stakeholders and senior management; provide regular updates.
• Maintain procedures and playbooks for incident management; update as needed.
• Contribute to Post Incident Reviews and drive remediation paths.
