Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Security Incident Response Manager to lead the IR program and coordinate response activities across global teams. You'll drive incident planning, risk assessments, and post-incident reviews to improve defenses.

The role requires hands-on IR expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to partner with security engineering and data science teams to scale investigations and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in leading Security Incident Response.
• BS/MS Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL, and familiarity with other programming languages.
• Experience with log analysis, network security, forensics, and IR investigations.
• Hands-on experience in analyzing security events and correlating data sets.
• Proficiency with developing and using novel analytical methods to automate response processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proactive in informing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate security incident response activities and workstreams as the incident response manager (IRM).
• Analyze and investigate threats on client devices, documenting incident details.
• Decide and communicate insights to stakeholders to help identify, prevent, detect, and respond to threats.
• Develop, document, and implement IR strategies, runbooks, capabilities, and techniques.
• Collaborate with security engineering and data science teams to build scalable analysis solutions.
• Strengthen KPIs and reporting to internal stakeholders; drive continuous improvement.
