Job summary

Bloomberg L.P. seeks a Senior Security Incident Manager in Dublin to lead coordination and management of information security incidents across business lines. The role focuses on leadership, delegation, documentation, and timely response actions, rather than deep technical forensics.

You will be responsible for maintaining procedures, communicating with global Sec IM teams, and ensuring sustainable responses during emergencies and high‑profile events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cyber incident management, incident response, or urgent vulnerability remediation functions.
• Understanding of the security incident lifecycle (prep, identify, contain, eradicate, recover, post-incident review).
• Experience as Incident Commander/Manager during active incidents.
• Ability to multitask under high pressure; clear written and verbal communication.

• Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents and high‑profile events.
• Delegate tasks, track progress, and hand off management as needed.
• Document status and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop, maintain, and improve incident management procedures and playbooks.
