Job summary

George Corbett Motors are Waterford's award-winning premier dealership representing Skoda, CUPRA, SEAT and Mazda. We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to lead on the showroom floor, driving the full sales journey from enquiry to handover and helping shape the next generation of our sales team.

The role rewards target-driven performance with a competitive base plus commission, ongoing manufacturer training, and clear opportunities for progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven sales experience in motor retail or automotive sector with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle finance products and trade-in valuation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using a dealership CRM/Lead Management System and disciplined follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales journey from first enquiry to handover, delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly new and used vehicle sales targets.
• Appraise trade-ins and support used car sales in line with stock strategy.
• Manage your pipeline, log enquiries, follow up promptly and keep records.
• Maintain expert knowledge across our brands (Skoda, CUPRA, SEAT, Mazda).
• Mentor and support junior colleagues and share knowledge.
• Represent the dealership at launch events, open days and customer events.
• Meet manufacturer and dealership standards and customer satisfaction targets.

We're now looking for an accomplished Senior Sales Executive to join our team, lead by example on the showroom floor and help shape the next generation of our sales team.

The Role

As our Senior Sales Executive you will:

• Manage the full sales journey from first enquiry to handover, delivering a standout customer experience at every step.
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly new and used vehicle sales targets.
• Appraise trade-ins and support used car sales in line with our stock strategy.
• Manage your own pipeline, using our Lead Management System to log every enquiry, follow up promptly and keep accurate records.
• Maintain expert knowledge across our brands.
• Act as a mentor and role model to junior colleagues, sharing your knowledge and supporting their development.
• Represent the dealership at launch events, open days and customer events.
• Meet manufacturer and dealership standards, and customer satisfaction targets.

About You

To be considered as a Senior Sales Executive, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years' proven sales experience in motor retail, with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle finance products and trade-in valuation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience of using a dealership CRM/Lead Management System and a disciplined approach to follow-up.
• The ability to work independently and support the wider team.
• A genuine commitment to customer experience.
• A full, valid driving licence and the right to work in Ireland.
