Job summary

ifm electronic gmbh is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Dublin office, focusing on the machine builder and mobile machine sectors. This role combines technical consultation, account management, and project management to grow our customer accounts across Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of technical sales experience, and a deep understanding of automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of developing and growing customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new and existing customer accounts.
• Identify customer challenges and deliver automation solutions.
• Provide technical consultation and support on automation and sensing applications.
• Manage projects from initial opportunity to successful implementation.
• Build strong relationships with engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
