Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue Recognition to partner with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations and Pricing, guiding proper revenue recognition and contract accounting under US GAAP for a SaaS business.

The ideal candidate has ASC 606 expertise, experience in dynamic, cross-functional roles, and the ability to manage complex issues arising from acquisitions, AI adoption, and evolving go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Advanced French language skills.
• Qualified Accountant or ACA/ACCA preferable.
• Team player who is able to work with virtual, global, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to multi-task; able to prioritize and manage competing goals and responsibilities.
• Verbal and written communication skills with ability to present ideas to executives.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales, Legal, Sales Operations, and Pricing during contract negotiations and provide guidance for proper Revenue recognition.
• Review complex revenue contracts for US GAAP compliance and determine accounting treatment.
• Engage with external auditors and implement global SFDC process improvements for quarterly/annual reviews.
• Advance the use of Agentic tools to deliver best in class support.
• Maintain documentation for all review and compliance work completed.
• Lead training on revenue recognition rules and practices within the Company and Sales organization.
• Deliver high standards of cross-functional and cross-region customer service.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Recognition team to develop and maintain SOX compliance.
• Perform revenue reporting and analysis as needed.
• Lead and assist with other special projects as needed.
