Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team in Ireland. You will deliver cost estimation and cost management services across major infrastructure projects including transport, rail, roads and utilities.

The role demands a strong civils background, experience with NEC/GCCC contracts, and the ability to lead cost control efforts. You will model first-principles pricing where appropriate, prepare tender documents, reports and final accounts, and support

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in quantity surveying.
Experience with major civils projects and working for a contractor is desirable.
Understanding of NEC and GCCC contracts.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and cost plans for infrastructure projects.
Support procurement through tender documents, evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations.
Prepare standard deliverables: estimates, tender reports, valuations.
Assist with final accounts and handling variations to ensure value for money.
Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to inform decisions.
Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams.
Deliver outputs accurately and on time; attend meetings as required.
Support onsite cost control, reporting and forecasting.
