Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor delivering high-specification projects in Ireland, up to €100m. You will be central to a professional commercial team, enjoying flexibility and autonomy while ensuring value and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 6 years’ experience in QS role.
• Experience with price variation, budgeting and cost control.
• Experience managing subcontractor payments and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Measure, price, negotiate, and agree on budgets and costs for scope variations.
• Manage commercial and contractual relationships with customers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Assess subcontractor payment entitlements and process payments accurately.
• Monitor and reconcile project costs and forecasts to ensure performance aligns with budgets.
• Optimize project design for efficiency and value maximisation.
