GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major civils and infrastructure schemes across the region. You will own delivery from mobilisation to completion, coordinating earthworks, structures, drainage and utilities, while working within live environments.

Based in Ireland, the role offers a base salary of €95,000–€110,000, a company vehicle, pension and healthcare, with relocation support if moving to the region.

Job description

Our client is an established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with a strong regional presence and a national reputation for technically capable delivery. They operate across transport, water, energy and public realm infrastructure for both public and private sector clients.

The business holds positions on several long-term frameworks, which has given it a stable and largely repeat workload rather than a reliance on one-off competitive tendering. That stability is reflected in unusually low turnover among its senior delivery staff.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTS

You will take responsibility for the delivery of major civils and infrastructure schemes across the region, typically involving significant earthworks, structures, drainage and utilities packages, often delivered within live or constrained environments.

Projects are delivered through a mix of framework and direct appointments, working closely with local authorities, semi-state bodies, designers and a well-established supply chain. Stakeholder management and public interface form a meaningful part of the role.

You will be supported by experienced engineering, commercial and health and safety functions, and will have real ownership of programme and delivery strategy on your schemes. The regional focus keeps travel sensible and predictable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU NEED

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Background with a civils contractor, main contractor or client-side delivery organisation
• Experience across roads, water, utilities, structures or similar infrastructure disciplines
• Strong understanding of programme management, temporary works and site methodology
• Sound commercial awareness, including measurement and change management
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including public and statutory interface
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline preferred

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN

A base salary of €95,000 – €110,000 is on offer, alongside a company vehicle, performance-related bonus, pension and healthcare. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to the region.
