Job summary

Irish Civil Engineering Contractor in Dublin is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead road and urban civils projects from mobilisation through to completion. Based in Dublin, you will oversee programmes, site teams, subcontractors and client communications to deliver works on time and to safety standards.

You will work closely with the commercial and engineering teams, manage traffic interfaces, and ensure quality across packages.

Qualifications

• Must have proven Project Manager experience delivering road projects and civil engineering works.
• Experience managing urban works in Dublin or similar busy environments is required.
• Strong knowledge of programme delivery and subcontractor management.
• A full, clean driver’s licence is essential.

The Company

This Irish civil engineering contractor has a strong track record delivering road infrastructure, urban improvement works and complex civil engineering projects across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.

With a strong pipeline of work in Co Dublin, they are looking to bring in an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of road and urban civils projects from mobilisation through to completion.

The Role: Project Manager

Based in Dublin, Co Dublin, this Project Manager role will involve managing the delivery of road projects, urban works and associated civil engineering packages.

You will take responsibility for programme delivery, site teams, subcontractor coordination, health and safety, quality and client communication. You will work closely with the engineering and commercial teams to keep projects moving safely and to programme.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have proven Project Manager experience delivering road projects and civil engineering works
• Experience managing urban works in Dublin or similar busy environments is required
• Strong knowledge of programme delivery and subcontractor management
• Must have a full, clean driver's licence

Preferred Experience

• Experience with an Irish civil engineering or main contractor preferred
• Roads, public realm, utilities or urban infrastructure experience beneficial
• Experience dealing with local authorities, consultants and client representatives
• Relevant civil engineering or construction qualification preferred

About You

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in roads, urban works and civil engineering construction.

You should be comfortable taking ownership of projects, managing site teams and subcontractors and dealing directly with clients and other stakeholders. Strong programme management and communication skills are important, particularly when delivering works within busy urban environments.

A full driver's licence is essential for this Project Manager position.
