Job summary

Building Staff Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee water infrastructure projects across the Greater Dublin Area.

You will manage the full project lifecycle, coordinating design, procurement and construction with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (Level 8) and 5+ years in a PM role within civil works, with a strong track record of delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline to Level 8.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering.
  • Proven track record delivering water/utilities infrastructure on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage water infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
  • Oversee site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery in line with programme, budget and quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities and utility providers.
  • Manage project documentation, reporting and compliance.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate design, procurement and construction phases.
  • Drive commercial performance with QS teams.

Overview

A leading civil engineering and utilities contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee water infrastructure projects across the Greater Dublin Area. This role will involve full project lifecycle management on critical utilities works.

Key Responsibilities
  • – Manage water infrastructure projects from planning through to completion
  • – Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
  • – Ensure delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
  • – Liaise with clients, local authorities, and utility providers
  • – Manage project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements– Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations
  • – Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • – Coordinate design, procurement, and construction phases
  • – Drive commercial performance in collaboration with QS teams
Requirements
  • – Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline to Level 8
  • – 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within civil engineering
  • – Strong experience in water or utilities infrastructure projects
  • – Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
  • – Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • – Strong knowledge of Irish construction and utility regulations
  • – Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
