Job summary

Fortivum, a Dublin-headquartered consultancy, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of major data centre projects across Europe. You will act as client representative, oversee design, procurement, construction and handover, and coordinate with consultants, contractors and vendors.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and risks, and ensure compliance, safety and quality across multiple European sites with a Dublin-based hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ project management experience in data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Electrical or Mechanical engineering background required.
• Experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of data centre design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors.
• Commercially aware with understanding of programme, cost, risk and change.
• Comfortable working across multi-country European projects and travel as required.

We’re Hiring: Senior Project Manager – Data Centres | Dublin (Hybrid) | European Projects

Fortivum is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Dublin-based team and support the delivery of major data centre projects across Europe.

This is an opportunity to take a senior, client-facing role on complex, mission-critical developments, working across an expanding European portfolio.

Our current and upcoming data centre projects span multiple European markets, including Spain, France, the Netherlands, Austria and Norway, to name a few. The role will be based in Dublin on a hybrid basis, with travel to project locations across Europe as required.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll act as the client representative / owner’s representative, taking responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data centre projects from early concept and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover. You’ll work closely with leading consultants, general contractors, specialist subcontractors, OEMs and vendors, providing the leadership and technical oversight required to successfully deliver highly complex, mission-critical environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the delivery of major hyperscale, colocation and enterprise data centre projects

• Acting as a key interface between the client, design teams, contractors and vendors

• Supporting delivery across multiple European jurisdictions and project locations

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years’ project management experience, ideally within data centres, mission-critical facilities or similarly complex technical environments
• A strong Electrical or Mechanical engineering background
• Demonstrable experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of data centre design, construction, commissioning and handover
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors
• Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of programme, cost, risk and change
• Comfortable working across multi-country European projects and travelling internationally when required
