Job summary

Fortivum is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive the design and delivery of hyperscale data centre projects on the client side, from concept through commissioning. You will lead electrical design, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and act as the main technical liaison with clients and contractors, ensuring safe, compliant, and mission-critical performance.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
8+ years’ experience in large-scale or mission-critical projects (data centres preferred).
Proven experience leading electrical design and coordination.
Strong technical knowledge of power systems and building services integration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design development, review, and approval across all project stages.
Provide technical oversight on HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
Act as the main technical interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and mission-critical performance.
Mentor junior engineers and support technical excellence across the team.
