Job summary

Fortivum, a Dublin-headquartered consultancy, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of major data centre projects across Europe. You will act as client representative, oversee design, procurement, construction and handover, and coordinate with consultants, contractors and vendors.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and risks, and ensure compliance, safety and quality across multiple European sites with a Dublin-based hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ project management experience in data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Electrical or Mechanical engineering background required.
• Experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of data centre design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors.
• Commercially aware with understanding of programme, cost, risk and change.
• Comfortable working across multi-country European projects and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of hyperscale, colocation and enterprise data centre projects.
• Manage projects from concept and design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Take ownership of programme, cost, risk, quality and delivery outcomes.
• Act as the interface between the client, design teams, contractors and vendors.
• Direct multidisciplinary design, engineering and construction teams.
• Provide technical oversight with an Electrical or Mechanical bias.
• Drive project governance, reporting and change management.
• Ensure Health & Safety, quality and technical compliance across sites.
• Support delivery across multiple European jurisdictions and locations.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
