Cunningham is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the onsite construction of a major contract in Dublin, with responsibility for delivery strategy, risk management and commercial success. The role reports to the Construction Director and requires hands-on leadership across multidisciplinary teams on a €100m+ project.

Qualifications

• 15 years’ experience in construction with similar contracting organisations.
• Academic and/or professional management qualification required.
• Membership of an industry related professional institution recommended (MCIOB or CEng MICE).
• Experience with complex contracts and risk management in large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the delivery of the development from mobilisation to completion.
• Agree commencement date and ensure contract documents are completed.
• Maintain quality, environmental standards and progress as per contractual requirements.
• Manage selection and vetting of major suppliers and subcontractors.
• Set resource plan with Construction Director and ensure site staffing.
• Lead design strategy and scope of novated services where applicable.
• Chair meetings and manage subcontractor communications.
• Monitor cost, risk and project cash flow with the Commercial Manager.
• Identify potential issues and plan recovery to protect programme and budget.
• Drive zero incidents and high-quality delivery through the project team.
