Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Project Director to lead the onsite construction of major contracts, primarily based in Dublin and Europe. You will drive pre-construction and tender activities, assemble high-performing teams, and steer commercial strategy to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role reports to the Regional MD, coordinating with estimating and design to ensure successful contract execution, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction across complex multi-disciplinary ventures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading major contract projects of high value.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage pre-construction and construction phases with focus on commercial success.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tender Team to produce competitive tenders in accordance with requirements (Pre-Construction).
• Chair start-up and internal meetings; develop procurement strategy with QS.
• Oversee PEP and build project team for contract commencement.
• Manage cost, risk, and commercial reporting; drive zero incidents and quality standards.
• Coordinate with client, stakeholders, and supply chain to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor programme progress, claims, extensions of time, and final account processes.
