Job summary

Mastercard Ireland is seeking a Senior Specialist, Product Experience Design to lead human-centered design across data-rich product experiences. You will design MVPs, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, and translate complex datasets into intuitive dashboards.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, Design Thinking, and cross-functional teamwork to deliver delightful, usable transactions across web, mobile, and voice interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Design for Interactive Media, or equivalent experience.
• World-beating portfolio covering multiple form-factors: desktop, tablet, mobile, wearables, etc.
• Demonstrable commitment to learning and exploring new concepts and technologies to maximize design possibility.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and a world-class CX team.

Responsibilities

• Design Proof-of-Concepts and MVPs using Lean UX and Design Thinking.
• Help define the next generation of data-driven products and shape Mastercard's growth.
• De-risk new data product concepts by conducting user research or assisting technical experiments to validate desirability, usability, and feasibility.
• Design product solutions to present complex data in a meaningful and digestible way.
• Participate in Design Thinking workshops with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal digital data products.
• Work on future-state conceptual designs, driving experimentation to improve design quality.
• Collaborate with brand & marketing to drive delightful and usable transactional experiences.
• Partner with engineering teams, leveraging modern presentation layer practices for web, mobile, and voice interfaces.
• Explore the art-of-the-possible and ensure designs balance business objectives with user engagement.
• Liaise with regional and country teams to reflect the diversity of needs for a global user base.
