Job summary

Apex Group in Ireland seeks an AVP – Closed Ended Account Manager to oversee NAV calculations for private equity funds, including capital distributions and waterfall calculations. You will liaise with managers, auditors, and investors while supervising accounting staff and ensuring accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include updating client systems, reviewing fee structures, and ensuring regulatory compliance with fund specifications, MIS timelines, and external audits.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years extensive fund accounting experience including supervision of teams.
• Experience with general ledger accounting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Geneva or Investran is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Detailed review of reconciliation and calculation of periodic NAVs for PE funds.
• Capital/income distribution workings and waterfall calculations.
• Liaise with Investment Managers, Auditors, Brokers, Custodians, and Investors.
• Oversee outsourced office activities and ensure timely NAV calculation and reporting.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure internal deadlines for reporting and MIS.
