Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Manager - Fund Accounting in Ireland to lead fund accounting for Private Equity and hybrid structures. You will review NAV calculations, oversee governance, and coordinate with investment managers, auditors, and investors to ensure accurate reporting.

Strong supervision, communication, and technical skills with Paxus experience preferred will help you succeed in a fast-growing, client-focused team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of fund accounting experience, including supervision.
• Experience with general ledger accounting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• University degree in accounting, finance, business or economics preferred.
• Paxus experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Detailed review of the reconciliation and calculation of periodic NAVs for PE and Open ended funds.
• Waterfall calculations and carry/mgmt. fee reviews.
• Dealing with requests from and communicating with the investment manager and investors regarding all aspects of the account’s operation.
• Updating accounting and client relationship management systems, verifying statistics, overseeing financial statements and coordinating with external auditors.
• Review of fee structures calculation at each NAV (carry and mgmt. fee).
• Review of regulatory reporting and client reporting requirements.
• Oversight of outsourced offices and their relationships, ensuring timely NAV calculation and reporting.
• Liaise with Investment Managers, Auditors, Brokers, Custodians, and Investors.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal deadlines for reporting and MIS.
• Supervision, training, and recruitment of accounting staff.
