Job summary

Apex Group in Cork is seeking an Account Manager - Fund Accounting with 2-3 years fund accounting experience and supervisory exposure. You will lead the detailed review of the reconciliation and calculation of periodic NAVs for PE and hybrid funds, including capital/income distributions and waterfall calculations.

You will also oversee outsourced office relationships, ensure timely reporting, regulatory compliance, and support senior management.

Qualifications

2–3 years fund accounting experience with team supervision.
Experience with NAV calculation and waterfall preferred.
Proficient in Excel; strong communication and attention to detail.
University degree in accounting, finance, business or economics preferred.

Responsibilities

Review NAV calculations for PE and open-ended funds.
Handle capital/income distributions and waterfall calculations.
Communicate with investment managers and investors on account operations.
Update accounting systems, prepare financial statements, and liaise with auditors.
Oversee outsourced offices and ensure timely reporting and regulatory compliance.
Mentor accounting staff and liaise with colleagues.
