Job summary

Apex Group in Ireland is seeking a Closed Ended Account Manager with strong fund accounting experience, including NAV review for private equity funds and waterfall calculations.

You will liaise with investment managers, auditors, brokers, custodians and investors, oversee outsourced offices and staff, and ensure timely reporting in line with regulatory requirements. Geneva/Investran experience would be advantageous; a university degree in accounting, finance, business or economics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in auditing or administration of Private Equity funds.
• Proven knowledge of the fund industry.
• Geneva/Investran experience would be highly beneficial.
• University degree in accounting, finance, business or economics.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review reconciliation and calculation of periodic NAVs for PE funds.
• Handle capital/income distribution workings.
• Perform waterfall calculations.
• Communicate with investment managers and investors regarding account operations.
• Update accounting and CRM systems, verify information, oversee statements.
• Review fee structures calculation at NAV (carry and mgmt. fees).
• Oversee outsourced offices and ensure timely NAV accuracy.
• Liaise with investment managers, auditors, brokers, custodians, and investors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal deadlines.
• Supervision, training, and recruitment of accounting staff.
