Job summary

BNY in Dublin is seeking a Vice President, Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting Services team. The role oversees delivery of high-quality accounting and reporting for private equity and alternative investment structures, while developing talent and driving operational excellence.

You'll manage capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations, review NAV packages, and coordinate with auditors, clients, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA).
• Significant fund accounting and private equity experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team delivering fund accounting services for private equity structures.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and NAV reporting packages.
• Manage capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
• Review accounting for complex fund structures (LPs, SPVs, feeder funds).
• Ensure deliverables meet client expectations, standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Escalate and resolve complex accounting and client issues with stakeholders.
• Coordinate quarter-end, year-end, and audits with internal/external teams.
• Drive process improvements, leveraging technology and AI-enabled tools.
