Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to take ownership of high-impact platform systems in Dublin. You will work cross-functionally with platform engineers, ML teams, SREs, and product partners to build developer-facing platforms and tooling that reduce friction at scale.

Youll support day-to-day operations of large-scale applications and participate in an on-call rotation, bringing a hands-on, proactive approach to reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years in systems/infrastructure engineering, SRE or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure As Code tooling like Terraform.
• Debugging experience with Linux based operating systems.
• Proficiency in one programming language like Go, Python, Java, or PHP.
• Solid background with Cloud technologies like Google Cloud or AWS.
• Experience with search technologies such as Lucene/Solr, Elasticsearch is a plus.
• Experience with Grafana, Kubernetes or Docker is a plus.

Responsibilities
