Job summary

Air Apps seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability of our AI-powered PRP platform. You will bridge development and operations, implementing automation, monitoring, and performance improvements to minimize downtime.

The role is fully onsite at our Lisbon office, with relocation support available. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design robust, scalable infrastructure and enhance incident response and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, reliable, and fault‑tolerant systems.
• Develop and maintain observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and incident response with IaC.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and incident response workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve system reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure high availability with load balancing and disaster recovery.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for faster, stable deployments.
• Optimize cloud cost and resource utilization (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Participate in on-call rotations to address failures quickly.
