Job summary

Precisely is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager with a strong hands-on background to lead a team focused on developer experience and productivity. You will shape roadmaps for CI/CD pipelines, AI-powered tooling, and internal developer platforms, enabling engineers to ship high-quality software quickly and safely at scale.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years directly managing software engineers or in a technical program management role.
• 3–5 years hands-on software engineering experience with Go/Python.
• Experience with capacity planning and designing scalable architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead a platform engineering team, driving roadmaps for CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
• Build a self-service developer experience by integrating cross-platform tooling into one interface.
• Own capacity planning and define right-sized architecture patterns for teams to self-serve.
• Lead AI-powered platform tooling and automation for recurring SRE workflows.
• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Product to prioritize investments.
• Coach engineers through feedback and foster end-to-end ownership and rapid iteration.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, balancing depth with leadership communication.
