Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited, part of Qualcomm's Dtech team in Cork, is seeking an experienced ASIC physical design engineer to lead blocks on testchip and contribute to digital sensor IP delivery for SOCs.

The role requires BE/B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent with 7+ years, hands-on with Innovus, Primetime, Calibre, and scripting (TCL/Python/Perl). You will mentor a PD team and collaborate across sites in Ireland.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech OR equivalent with minimum 7 years of industry experience.
• Experience with PNR, STA and physical verification on advanced technology nodes.
• Good understanding of Physical design fundamentals and custom circuit design.
• Understanding of SPICE simulation with industry-standard simulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical design of critical blocks on testchip.
• Deliver on digital sensor IP to leading SOCs from mobile and compute domains.
• Mentor and manage a PD engineering team and collaborate cross-functionally across sites.
