Job summary

Qualcomm Cork, Ireland, is seeking engineers for physical design, STA, and power integrity roles to drive the implementation of premium-tier Snapdragon SoCs. You will contribute across floorplanning, placement, routing, and GDS flows, while innovating through automation and cross-team collaboration.

The role demands 4+ years in ASIC/physical design, strong scripting in Perl/TCL, and an understanding of timing closure and power analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• Advanced degrees (Master/PhD) preferred for senior roles.
• Equivalent experience considered for substitution.

Responsibilities

• Handle physical design from floorplan to GDS for high-speed designs.
• Develop flows and scripts to improve PPA and automation.
