Job summary

Johnson & Johnson, Cork, Ireland, seeks a Senior Engineer to join the Network Edge team. Lead capacity expansion projects for orthopaedic manufacturing, delivering robust, compliant processes and ensuring knowledge transfer to site staff.

Position may involve international travel and cross‑country collaboration within DePuy Synthes and related entities. The role requires 5+ years in medical device manufacturing, strong problem solving, and proven leadership within GMP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in medical device manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, Lean principles and statistical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of robust orthopaedic implant manufacturing processes to Network Edge projects.
• Ensure activities comply with QMS procedures and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement validated, compliant strategies.
• Coordinate filings and inspections with Regulatory for mult-site approvals.
• Lead communications and document project plans and progress.
