Job summary

Boston Scientific Cork seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead a high-volume automated production line. The role focuses on equipment reliability, process capability, patient safety, product quality and cost outcomes in a near-continuous environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing automation, strong problem-solving skills and experience with equipment qualification and process validation. This is a permanent, on-site position in Cork.

Qualifications

• Honors degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering or automation.
• Experience with validated quality systems and change control.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for highly automated, high-volume manufacturing equipment.
• Drive improvements in OEE, throughput, yield and cost using structured problem-solving.
• Lead equipment qualification, process validation and change control activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.
