Sanderson in Dublin is seeking a Senior Manager Procurement Category Management - Indirect to lead global strategies across MRO, Fleet, Real Estate, Facilities Management and Utilities. You will oversee supplier strategy, negotiations, and performance, drive standardisation, and partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, EHS and Facilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global procurement strategies across MRO, Fleet, Real Estate, Facilities Management and Utilities categories.
• Lead sourcing, negotiation and contracting activity to deliver cost savings, value and operational resilience.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive supplier performance across a global footprint.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation, process improvement and spend optimisation.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, EHS and Facilities teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
• Drive risk mitigation, business continuity and regulatory compliance across all categories.
• Develop total cost of ownership models and support data driven decision making.
• Lead cross functional projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency and procurement transformation.
• Manage and develop a high performing procurement team.
• Track and report procurement performance through KPIs and supplier metrics.

Senior Manager Procurement Category Management - Indirect

Dublin, Permanent and also Day Rate Contractors will be considered.

Global responsibility for MRO, Fleet, Real Estate, Facilities Management and Utilities procurement.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and delivering global category strategies across a complex manufacturing environment. You will lead supplier strategy, cost optimisation, risk management and procurement transformation initiatives while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across multiple regions.

Experience Required

• 10+ years procurement or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven category management experience across MRO, Facilities, Fleet, Real Estate or related indirect categories.
• Experience developing and implementing global sourcing and category strategies.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing operations and indirect procurement.
• Experience leading teams and driving change in complex international organisations.
• Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional procurement qualifications such as CIPS or CPSM would be advantageous.

This role would suit an experienced procurement leader with a track record of delivering cost, risk and operational improvements through effective category management. Experience operating across multiple regions and managing complex indirect spend categories is essential. You will also be able to and happy to travel for 25 - 30%.
