Job summary

O'Callaghan Collection, a luxury group of Dublin hotels, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and develop the housekeeping team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across our city-centre properties.

You will oversee daily operations, uphold cleanliness standards, manage inventory, and collaborate with departments to deliver consistent, high-quality service for discerning guests. A proactive, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience at a similar property.
• Provide superb guest service and have excellent people skills.
• Excellent attention to detail in delivering customer care standards.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to multi-task and help in all hotel areas.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player and able to work on own initiative.
• Flexible for early starts, late finishes, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, assign tasks, oversee schedules, and train new employees.
• Quality Control: maintain high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas.
• Inventory Management: monitor supplies, linens, and amenities to maintain stock.
• Guest Satisfaction: respond promptly to requests and concerns to exceed guest expectations.
• Safety and Compliance: ensure safe handling of cleaning agents and adherence to hotel policies.
• Reporting and Documentation: keep records and collaborate with other departments for smooth operations.
