Job summary

ICON Clinical Research is seeking a Senior Manager, Laboratory Project Management to lead project and programme management delivery across clinical trials, coaching your team and driving continuous improvement. You will oversee planning and execution, mentor PMs, monitor metrics and risk, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure trials are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• Extensive experience in project management within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing project management frameworks and methodologies that align with ICON's goals.
• Overseeing planning and execution of clinical trial projects to meet time, scope, and budget targets.
• Leading and mentoring a team of project managers to drive success and development.
• Monitoring project performance metrics and risk indicators to address issues proactively.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of project activities.

Education
