Job summary
EyeBio in Dunboyne, Ireland seeks a Senior Laboratory Systems Specialist to act as SME for data management and instrument control systems within Quality Operations.
You will lead digital initiatives, support NPI and technical transfers, ensure CGMP compliance, and drive harmonization of laboratory systems across sites while collaborating with IT, QA, and operations.
The role focuses on system ownership, project leadership, and cross-functional partnership to enable a fast-paced biologics pipeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or scientific discipline.
- Hands-on SME knowledge configuring and maintaining key laboratory systems (LIMS, MODA, Empower).
- Understanding of analytical methods used in biologics testing (HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, PCR, etc.).
- Familiarity with data integrity, SDLC, and system integrations with ERP/Middleware.
Responsibilities
- Serve as site SME for lab instrument control and data management systems (LIMS/GLIMS, Empower, MODA, SoftMaxPro, LabX).
- Lead projects with Lab IT and global owners to align systems with standards.
- Oversee qualification/validation, tech transfers, and routine testing.
- Drive harmonization/standardization of laboratory systems and data reporting.
