Job summary

MSD Ireland is seeking a Senior Laboratory Systems Specialist to lead data management and instrument control systems at the Dunboyne site. You will act as SME for LIMS, Empower, MODA, and related platforms, partnering with Lab IT and global owners to harmonize systems in a fast-paced GMP environment.

This role supports NPI and tech transfers within the biologics pipeline. You will drive system qualification/validation oversight, SDLC adherence, and continuous improvement while ensuring audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Experience as SME for lab instrument control and data management systems.
• Knowledge of cGMP, SDLC, change control and document management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site SME and lead projects for laboratory instrument control and data management systems (LIMS, Empower, MODA, SoftMaxPro, LabX).
• Partner with Lab IT and global owners to align systems with global standards.
• Support data mapping translations for ERP/Middleware integrations.
• Drive harmonization and standardization of lab systems and data reporting.
