Job summary

MSD in Ireland is seeking a Manager, Laboratory Systems to lead the QC Operations Laboratory Systems team at the Dunboyne facility. You will drive strategy, upgrades and lifecycle management for LIMS/MODA/Empower, ensuring data integrity and compliant workflows across QC testing and environmental monitoring.

You will assemble and mentor a high‑performing team, oversee projects, support technical transfers, and contribute to the site's digital transformation in a fast‑paced biopharma setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline (Biochemistry/Chemistry/Engineering) is required.
• 6–10 years experience with Laboratory Systems is expected.
• Experience in GMP/biopharma environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Laboratory Systems team; manage schedules and performance conversations.
• Act as SME for laboratory data systems (LIMS, MODA, Empower) and spearhead digital projects.
• Ensure cGMP and SDLC compliance for system changes, validation, and audits.
