Job summary

MSD Ireland seeks a Manager, Laboratory Systems to lead theQC Operations team at the Dunboyne Biologics site in County Meath. You will set strategy, drive upgrades and lifecycle management for laboratory systems (LIMS, Empower, SMP, MODA) and implement digital capabilities to boost data integrity, connectivity and compliance.

You will oversee qualification/validation, tech transfers, NPI and commercial operations with a strong focus on SDLC, CAPAs and audit readiness.

Qualifications

Degree qualification in a technical discipline such as Biochemistry, Chemistry or Engineering.
Experience in GMP/QA environments and laboratory systems.
Proven SME for LIMS/Empower/MODA or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Be an inspiring leader of a high-performing Laboratory Systems team and drive continuous improvement.
Lead projects on data management systems for instrument control (LIMS, MODA, Empower).
Ensure cGMP and SDLC compliance, change control and audit readiness.
Coach and develop team members, manage schedules and performance conversations.
Support digital deployment and technical transfers in line with NPI and commercial operations.
