Job summary

MSD is hiring a Manager, Laboratory Systems in Ireland to lead the QC Operations Lab Systems team within Global Quality Large Molecule Analytical Sciences. You will oversee strategy, upgrades, and lifecycle management of LIMS/Empower/MODA and related platforms to enable testing of raw materials through to final products, with a focus on data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical discipline (Biochemistry/Chemistry/Engineering) with 6–10 years in Laboratory Systems.
Proven GMP experience in pharma/biopharma environments and team leadership.
SME in configuring Laboratory Systems such as LIMS/MODA/Empower and coding/scripting interest.

Responsibilities

Lead Laboratory Systems team and manage schedules, 1:1s and performance feedback.
Oversee data management systems for instrument control (LIMS/MODA/Empower).
Ensure cGMP/SDLC compliant performance, change control and audit readiness.
Drive digital capabilities, upgrades and automation to enhance data integrity.
Support technical transfers, NPIs, and site digital transformation.
