Job summary

Jobgether is assisting a partner company in Ireland to hire a Senior Jira Administrator. The role focuses on administering and evolving Jira Cloud, owning configuration, automation, and integrations to support global engineering and business teams.

The position combines Jira administration with Python development and data integration in a remote, autonomous setup. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and support teams across time zones, manage escalations, and contribute to

Qualifications

Experience administering Atlassian Jira and workflows, automation, and administration.
Experience developing software with Python and applying engineering practices.
Strong ability to design Jira solutions for diverse stakeholder needs.
Proficient English, strong communication and stakeholder management.
Willingness to travel internationally ~twice per year.

Responsibilities

Manage and administer Atlassian Jira Cloud across technical and non-technical teams.
Design, document, implement, and continuously improve Jira-based processes and automation.
Develop and maintain integrations between Jira and the organization’s data warehouse.
Build analytical dashboards and reporting capabilities for stakeholders.
Create scalable learning resources and documentation for Jira usage.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and support across regions to deliver solutions.
Own critical escalations, investigate issues, and drive timely resolutions.
Contribute to broader systems improvements through automation and process design.
