Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Site Reliability / GitOps Engineer based in Ireland. You’ll use automation, infrastructure as code, and GitOps to improve cloud operations and ensure reliability across private and public clouds.

You’ll collaborate with a distributed team of SREs, contribute to open-source tech, and drive automation to minimize repetitive manual work while mentoring colleagues around the world.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Strong Python development experience with large projects.
• Solid IT operations defined by code, version control, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Apply Infrastructure as Code to automate and improve operational consistency.
• Automate software operations across private/public clouds with GitOps.
• Develop capabilities to improve resilience, scalability, and reliability of cloud/container infrastructure.
• Maintain core services, networks, and infrastructure for reliable day-to-day performance.
• Set up and use observability/monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch).
• Collaborate with distributed teams on architecture, playbooks, and procedures.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge within a global SRE/engineering community.
