Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to fill a Senior Software Engineer, Product role based in Ireland. You will design, build, and own end‑to‑end features used by thousands of developers and millions of end users in a fully remote, autonomous environment.

You will contribute across frontend, backend, and data layers using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL, with AWS deployment and strong emphasis on reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend foundation and track record of high‑scale production systems.
• Strong proficiency in backend engineering with hands‑on frontend development experience.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries beyond basic data retrieval and updates.
• Strong proficiency with React and ownership of frontend and UI development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain high‑quality product features across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Own initiatives end to end from problem definition through deployment and maintenance.
• Translate customer and business needs into practical technical solutions with Product and engineering teams.
• Build scalable, reliable systems capable of handling high‑volume production workloads.
• Collaborate with Product and engineering teams to understand product needs and drive implementations.
• Contribute to architecture decisions affecting broader systems and teams.
• Mentor engineers through feedback, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
