Global Financial Services Organisation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering strategic initiatives.

You will design enterprise Java applications, build microservices, and contribute to architecture while working across international locations in an Agile, cloud-enabled environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product owners, architects, QA, and engineers, plus mentoring peers and driving quality through automation.

Qualifications

8+ years of enterprise Java development experience.
Strong Spring Framework expertise, especially Spring Boot.
Experience building RESTful services and distributed apps.
Strong Oracle DB skills including PL/SQL.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Understanding of design patterns and best practices.
Experience with Agile delivery.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
Able to work across globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-scale Java applications and RESTful services.
Build scalable, secure microservices.
Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
Work across the full SDLC using Agile methodologies.
Support CI/CD and DevOps in a cloud-based environment.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and engineers.
Drive software quality through automation, code reviews, and best practices.
Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to technical leadership.
Identify opportunities for process and platform improvements.
