Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive backend Java development within the Cyber Security Services platform. You will lead a team to design, implement and optimize high-performance applications that run at scale across complex securities workflows.

You will own technical direction, code reviews, and incident response, ensuring resilient services. You will collaborate with product, security, and operations teams, mentor engineers, and uphold best practices in SAFe/Agile,

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Java SDK 1.8 or greater and backend development.
• Strong experience with SAFe/Agile software processes.
• Experience with microservices in cloud environments (PCF/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance Java applications in a lead role.
• Deliver software solutions and provide incident resolution guidance.
