Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive backend development of high-performance Java applications within the Cyber Security Services platform. You will work with engineers to define features, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance while delivering scalable security-focused software solutions.

Qualifications

Proficiency with Java SDK 1.8+ and strong Java background.
Experience with SAFe/Agile processes and software delivery practices.
Extensive experience in backend development and related tech stack.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (PCF, Azure) and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

Develop high-performance, high-volume Java applications.
Deliver software solutions and provide production support as SME.
Collaborate with tech leads, engineers, business & system analysts to define features.
Contribute to planning and development of software solutions.
Mentor juniors and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices.
Learn quickly and contribute to a complex platform.
