Job summary

eir business talent seeks a Senior IT Support Engineer for a 6-month day-rate contract in Dublin 2. You will lead M365 administration, Intune governance, Azure management and transition to Entra ID while ensuring security and availability of ICT systems.

The role requires strong Windows/M365 expertise, hands-on experience with Defender and SentinelOne, and the ability to manage on-prem AD alongside cloud identities. Eligible for long-term work in Ireland is preferred.

Qualifications

5–6 years of systems administration experience with M365.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
Experience managing Entra ID and Azure resources.
Proven governance of endpoints and security controls.

Responsibilities

Lead the administration and governance of Intune for endpoint management.
Administer Microsoft 365 portals including SharePoint Online, Outlook, Defender, Purview and Teams.
Assist in maintaining virtual servers, networks and the mobile estate.
Ensure ICT security, integrity and availability of systems.
Microsoft Azure administration and on-prem Active Directory management.
Transition to Entra ID and migrate virtual servers to Azure.
Manage Defender for Business and SentinelOne antivirus/antimalware.
Monitor security alerts and support cyber-simulation tests.
