Job summary

eir Ireland is seeking a Senior Sales Support Executive to join its fast-paced Sales Support function within the Business Optimisation area.

You will manage quotes, process orders, ensure pricing accuracy and data quality, and support customer relationships across IT distribution partners including HP, Dell, VMware, and Microsoft.

This role requires at least five years in IT sales support, strong CRM and MS Office skills, and a proactive, deadline-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ sales support in IT with distribution or reseller experience.
• Experience with CRM applications, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; high-energy, motivated self-starter.
• Excellent listening, attentiveness and customer-satisfaction focus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Good commercial acumen.
• Enthusiasm for the sales support role and staying up-to-date with changes.

Responsibilities

• Quote management: check quotes, manage pipeline and review orders to ensure excellent service.
• Order processing to meet delivery deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Ensure pricing input accuracy and high-quality data across customer databases and teams.
• Respond promptly to customer requests and manage quotations efficiently.
• Troubleshoot problems and escalate to IT support as needed.
• Collaborate with distribution partners across manufacturers like HP, Dell, VMware, Microsoft.
• Deliver quality results and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Stay aware of market conditions and product updates relevant to customers.
