Job summary

Dell Technologies Ireland seeks a Technical Support Engineer for Dell Compute, focused on PowerEdge Rack/Tower and Modular (MX) platforms for enterprise customers. You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, guiding customers remotely and coordinating parts and field engineers as required.

Ideal candidates will have strong server hardware knowledge, basic networking, and excellent communication skills in one of the required languages.

Qualifications

Foundational server hardware knowledge including PowerEdge components.
Basic networking concepts relevant to server management.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities in enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and customer service for B2B contexts.
Fluency in Norwegian, Finnish, or Dutch is required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose hardware and software issues on Dell PowerEdge and Modular servers for B2B customers via phone, chat, or remote sessions.
Use Dell diagnostic tools to identify root causes and drive resolutions.
Manage cases and document interactions, ensuring SLA compliance.
Coordinate parts dispatches and on-site visits as needed.
Collaborate with escalation teams to resolve complex issues and contribute to knowledge base.
