Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision is seeking a Senior Inventory Planner in Limerick for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on leading regional inventory performance, risk reduction, and cross-functional collaboration across Planning, Supply, Finance, Commercial and Deliver teams.

The position requires strong analytics, SAP proficiency, and APICS qualification. The successful candidate will manage inventory, support product lifecycle changes, and drive actions to optimise supply-demand across the EMEA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in a supply chain related field.
• IIPMM/APICS qualification is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience translating data into actionable business decisions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across regional/global teams.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & SLOB management: identify excess, obsolete and short-shelf-life inventory and lead mitigation plans.
• Supply–demand balancing: analyze demand, supply, inventory, backorders and safety stock to identify risks and suggest actions.
• Inventory risk & financial exposure: maintain visibility of risks and opportunities and drive corrective actions with Finance and Commercial teams.
• Product lifecycle management: support transitions, SKU rationalisation, last-time buys and discontinuations to minimise residuals.
• Planning & transformation: represent inventory requirements in supply-chain projects and support new planning and replenishment processes.
• Cross-functional leadership: drive actions across regional and global Planning, Supply, Finance, Commercial and Deliver teams.
